Free fun with Monty

From 10.30am to 2.30pm during the school holidays, Monty the Monkey will be hosting free arts and crafts workshops and activities at Westfield Mall in Manukau. From painting to planting to making your own money box, Monty offers a raft of activities for children age up to 10 years. www.montysworld.co.nz

Drama Queens

Dress ups, make believe and musical mayhem for $5 per family at Orakei Community Centre. Held on Monday 17th and Monday 24th April from 11am - 12.15pm, the Drama Queens team welcome all ages. www.dramaqueens.co.nz

Initiate Dance Holiday Programme

Offering a safe space for eight - 12 year olds to meet friends and explore the world of dance, this programme runs over four days at a cost of $10 per day or $30 for all four. Learn different types of dance, explore your own creativity, put on a show but, mostly, have fun. Held at Ferguson Intermediate School, Otara from the 18th - 21st April. www.initiatedance.wixsite.com
