Incredible Years is an internationally acclaimed programme that helps parents identify and manage children's problem behaviours. Mums and dads work through a series of steps to deal with tantrums, aggression and other behaviours that make parenting a challenge. Best of all, it is completely free for parents to take part in.
Incredible Years helps parents who have issues like children yelling, swearing and answering back.
Who can do Incredible Years?
Incredible Years is for any parent, grandparent or guardian with a child between the ages of three- and eight-years-old.
What does it involve?
14 sessions of around two hours at our office in Wiri, Auckland, plus self-guided practice at home. The course content involves three key areas of a child’s development: social and emotional skills, self-regulation and school readiness.
What if my client has no car or access to public transport?
If transport is a barrier, we can provide transport assistance to parents in the Manukau area.
Who will look after my client’s child while they are learning?
We have a team of trained babysitters who look after the young ones so parents can concentrate on getting the most out of the course.
