FAMILY START
A social services home-visiting programme for mums & whanau in Manukau and Franklin. Available for pregnant mums or families who have an infant up to 12 months old.
We match families with a dedicated family wellbeing navigator to support them through their child’s early life, even if they have older children.
The family wellbeing navigator will help whanau with setting goals, making plans, and figuring out the areas in their lives that they need the most support in.
We will also connect whanau with other services they may need, and manage everything so whanau can focus on being the best parents they can be.
INCREDIBLE YEARS
A 14-week parenting course to teach mums and dads effective parenting tools and tricks for bringing up kids between the ages of three and eight.
Topics covered in the programme include developing your child’s social and emotional skills, self-regulation and school readiness.
We run Incredible Years from our offices in Wiri, Manukau, in 14 sessions of about two hours.
Onsite babysitting services are provided, and feel free to talk to us if transport is a problem - we can sort something out.
